Autohaus Weekend Tour
3 & 4 August 2013
Following the success of previous weekend tour last November the team at Autohaus have asked Driving Adventures to put together more special weekends away exclusively for Autohaus.
The Schedule
The first weekend in August is always a great time to head into the mountains for those cold crisp days where your cars always seems to be at it’s best. So we have put together an 800 km weekend drive taking in some great, empty roads, wonderful scenery, a memorable dinner and very comfortable accommodation.
Saturday we head west to Windsor before taking to the back roads around the foothills of the mountains. We then take the Bells Line of Road over the mountains before tackling some stunning roads on the way to Oberon for lunch. There is more of the same after lunch as we wind our way into Goulburn for the night. Our accommodation includes Dinner and a Hot Breakfast as part of the cost of the tour.
Sunday we start on more back-roads that will get the heart pumping before we drop the pace a little through a string of villages in the Southern Highlands before taking on the marvellous drop down the escarpment to the South Coast. The trip home takes in the Sea Cliff Bridge and the Royal National Park.
The roads
are all sealed, they carry little traffic through breathtaking scenery with corners that are frequent and entertaining.
The Cars
Bring your favourite Porsche or whatever else you think will be suitable or select one of our fleet of Boxsters for hire if you want to induct into pleasures of Porsche power.
The Cost
$550/couple. This includes all accommodation, Saturday night dinner, a cooked breakfast on Sunday morning and a detailed road-book so you can find all the best roads. I will be there with the Autohaus team to smooth the way and ensure everyone can stay on track.
