NSW Central Tablelands
December 7 - December 9
The best of the central tablelands
This tour has been designed to take in the best of our weekend tours. Heading north of Sydney through some magical roads to the Hunter Valley before heading into some very special country to Mudgee. We then head down the western edge of the mountains through Bathurst to Goulburn before looping through Crookwell to a special little pub near Lithgow. Of course we have time for quality meals, try the local wines and mix with a fun group of like-minded adventurers. The tour is designed for you to bring your favourite car and as such we always get a great variety of machinery on tour.
We head north from Sydney taking in some of the little used roads in hidden valleys along the way to the Hunter Valley and our lunch stop. Afterwards we skirt the coal mines and head through the horse studs and vineyards of the Upper Hunter and into the amazing Bylong Valley and onto the wine centre of Mudgee where we stay the night.
There is a big country breakfast before we hit the road south and wind our way through the old gold diggings on our way to Bathurst where we have time to explore the Mt Panorama race circuit. South of Bathurst there is a very special lunch stop before we tackle an amazing road that eventually takes us to Goulburn and our hotel where you can get a very good steak and some surprisingly good local shiraz.
In recent times we have completely changed Day 3. We will now head through Crookwell to the hamlet of Tuena before picking some great roads into Tarana where we have lunch before a quick run into Lithgow before a final run home.
Per Car – 2 People
The tour is $1,500/car (2 people max) and includes bed and breakfast each night as well as a comprehensive roadbook to keep you on track. I will be there to smooth the way and ensure that everything runs as it should.
