Black Stump Tour

This is a brand-new tour and set with Classic cars very much in mind. The schedule is nice and relaxed, there is even a few short-cuts available if you wish and you may well as the accommodation is probably the best we have ever put together.
Day 1. – 370 Km
We will start our tour at the popular Pie in the Sky at Cowan on the northern outskirts of Sydney. We will head through the best of the Hunter Valley on some very special roads before touching for the first time at Bulahdelah before heading into Forster where our hotel is perched on the beach. There will even be time for a swim before heading off for a spectacular dinner.
Day 2. – 260 Km
Leaving the coast we head straight to the escarpment and a series of roads that we have explored previously and offer some of the best driving anywhere. We travel through rainforest and onto the highland plains to our home for the night the legendary Goonoo Goonoo Station.
Day 3. – 310 Km
Today is a little bit of unchartered territory for us. We are still on the back-roads but we are well past the mountain roads that we normally seek out, instead we will cruise the western plains taking in some of the best agricultural country on the continent, we even head beyond the legendary Black Stump, well only by about 20 metres but hey, we get there. We then head into Mudgee for a fine dinner and a nice red wine.
Day 4. – 340 Km
We head out of Mudgee and into the amazing Bylong Valley before wandering through the upper reaches of the Hunter Valley and back into Sydney.

The Cost
Cost of the 4 day tour is only $2,500/couple and includes very comfortable accommodation as well as a comprehensive roads book and Garmin Sat-Nav units to keep you on track. I will be there to smooth the way and to keep everything on track.
