The Hunter & Beyond Tour

This is a 3 day tour designed to highlight the amazing roads and scenery of the Hunter Valley as well as areas further north and west. The usual high standard of accommodation and evening meals has been a priority here as has some great coffee and lunch stops.
The Tour Schedule
Day 1 – 366 Km
We kick the tour off from Cowan on Sydney’s northern outskirts before tackling some favourite roads into the Hunter Valley and a great historic spot ideal for a coffee break. You will be introduced to some little used roads just north of the Hunter River before eventually picking up a brilliant stretch of bitumen that takes us into Bulahdelah. From there it is a pretty easy cruise along the Lakes Way to Forster where our hotel is just across the road from the beach and ocean pool.
Day 2 – 451 K
Time to break away from the coast, we head up the legendary Bucketts Way to Gloucester before heading back into the Hunter through Dungog and more littleknown roads. The day ends with one of our favourite stretches of road through the Bylong Valley to Mudgee.
Day 3 – 383 Km
The day starts with an drive back into history as we take a mountain road to some of the old gold mining settlements before a quick visit to Bathurst and a favourite lunch stop just out of Oberon. Our afternoon run heads back into Lithgow before heading over the Bells Line to Windsor.

The Cost
Cost of the 3 day tour is only $1,500/couple and includes very comfortable accommodation as well as a comprehensive roads book and Garmin Sat-Nav units to keep you on track. I will be there to smooth the way and to keep everything on track.
